Tracy Police Department Respond to Fatal Traffic Collision Near Tracy Hills Drive & Cappo Way

On July 29, 2024, at about 5:29 PM, the Tracy Police Department (TPD) Communication Center received reports of a solo motorcycle collision near Tracy Hills Drive and Cappo Way. Tracy Police Officers, South San Joaquin County Fire Authority (SSJCFA), and American Medical Response (AMR) units arrived at the scene shortly.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult male, identified as Asim Imran (20 years old from Tracy), who is thought to have collided with a light pole in the area, sustaining severe injuries. Unfortunately, due to the extent of his injuries, Imran was pronounced deceased at the scene by SSJCFA and AMR personnel. The Tracy Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit was notified and responded to the scene to take over the investigation.
