LiveScan is inkless electronic fingerprinting. The fingerprints are electronically transmitted to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for completion of a criminal record check.

Live Scan Fingerprinting is conducted by the Tracy Police Department on Tuesdays and Thursday only between 9am and 11am. You must schedule an appointment by calling (209) 831-6560 or by clicking the “Schedule Appointment” link below.

There is a basic fee of $20. Additional fees are determined by DOJ upon entry of the applicant’s information.
