On Sunday, January 21, 2024, at approximately 9:14 a.m., Tracy Police Department Officers responded to a report of a possible dead body in a vehicle in the 2400 block of Naglee Road. Upon arrival, Officers located an unresponsive male inside the vehicle.

South San Joaquin County Fire Authority personnel were called to the scene. In order to gain entry into the vehicle and assess the male, SSJCFA personnel broke one of the vehicle’s windows. The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner responded and took custody of the body. Based on the evidence at the scene, there were no signs of foul play, indicating that the decedent passed from natural causes. It should be noted that the decedent was also reported missing out of Lathrop PD.
