Tracy Police Department Arrest Suspects Linked to Armed Robbery Investigations

by | May 2, 2024 | News Releases

On the morning of Thursday, May 2, 2024, the Tracy Police Department’s General Investigations Unit, Crisis Response Unit (SWAT, Crisis Negotiations, Tactical Medics, and Tactical Dispatch), Special Investigations Unit, Special Enforcement Team, and Patrol Officers, with assistance from the Stockton Police Department SWAT, served search warrants and arrest warrants at a residence in the 400 block of West Whittier Avenue in Tracy and a residence in the 800 block of Ponce De Leon Avenue in Stockton.

This joint operation stemmed from an extensive investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at the Valley Shopping Center on Tracy Blvd in April 2024. During the armed robbery, the suspects, later identified as Camrhon Williford (21 years old from Tracy, CA) and Nicholas Watkins (20 years old from Stockton), approached two victims leaving a business and demanded that they hand over their jewelry while at gunpoint. Williford and Watkins were able to flee the area before the arrival of officers, and the investigation into the robbery was turned over to detectives.

While detectives were diligently working to follow up on the April armed robbery investigation, Tracy Police Officers were dispatched to a subsequent robbery on May 1, 2024, in the Walmart Parking Lot, where Williford, along with Morissa Livingstone (24-years-old of Manteca), stole the victim’s jewelry.

The search warrants resulted in the collection of evidence for both armed robberies.

Williford, Watkins, and Livingstone were arrested for Penal Codes 211 – Robbery and 182 – Conspiracy, and 245 – Assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail.
