Tracy Police Respond to Fatal Collision, Driver Arrested for Driving Under the Influence

On April 21, 2024, at approximately 5:20 a.m., Tracy Police Department Patrol Officers responded to a collision near the intersection of Laguna Drive and Holly Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered a gray Dodge Charger had collided with a parked Chevy pickup truck. 

Emergency personnel from the South San Joaquin Fire Authority and American Medical Response responded to provide first aid to the vehicle’s occupants. Despite their efforts, a 24-year-old female passenger was tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Another passenger, an 18-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Additionally, a 15-year-old male passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

The Tracy Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit was notified and responded to the scene to continue the investigation. During the investigation, the driver, identified as Iman Gullatt, 24 years old from Tracy, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
