Tracy Police Department Assists San Pablo PD in Arresting Suspect Linked to Armed Robbery Investigation

by | Mar 14, 2024 | News Releases

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, around 11:00 am, the Tracy Police Department’s Crisis Response Unit (SWAT, Crisis Negotiations, Tactical Medics, and Tactical Dispatch), Special Investigations Unit (SIU), Special Enforcement Team (SET), and Patrol Officers assisted the San Pablo Police Department (SPPD) serving search and arrest warrants at a residence in the 500 block of Burk Court in Mountain House and a residence in the 2600 block of Solomon Lane in Tracy.

This joint operation stemmed from an extensive investigation into an armed robbery that occurred in San Pablo in January 2024. SPPD successfully identified the suspect as Toddisha Mayfield, a 29-year-old from Oakland. While efforts were underway to locate Mayfield, her vehicle information was entered into the Flock Safety database. Following the January armed robbery, TPD Patrol Officers responded to a Flock Automatic License Reader (ALPR) notification that led to a pursuit. Despite Mayfield managing to evade law enforcement during the pursuit in Tracy, TPD continued to assist SPPD in the investigation, leading to additional charges against Mayfield for possession of a stolen vehicle and reckless evasion of a police officer.

The culmination of the investigation resulted in the issuance of search warrants, which were executed on March 13. During the search of the residences, investigators discovered numerous identity theft and fraudulent documents.

Mayfield was arrested for 211PC – robbery, 182 PC – conspiracy, 24510 PC – firearm not immediately recognizable as a firearm; prohibition against manufacture, sale, importation or possession, 10851 VC – vehicle theft, 530.5 PC – use others id with intent to defraud: with prior conviction, 496d(a) PC – possess a stolen vehicle, 2800.2 PC – recklessly evading a police officer, and 496d(a)pc- possession of stolen vehicle

In connection to the search warrants, Rhavennah Huff (29 years old of Emeryville) was arrested for an outstanding burglary warrant, and Brittany Baily (33 years old of Oakland) was arrested in connection to an identity theft investigation by the Delta Regional Auto Theft Team (R.A.T.T.).
