Tracy PD Investigates Road Rage Shooting – Public Assistance Needed

On Friday, March 1, 2024, around 9:53 p.m., Tracy Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot near Central Avenue and 3rd Street.  The victim, an adult male, was found with a single gunshot wound and transported to a local trauma center where he is in stable condition.  Detectives from the General Investigations Unit responded and learned the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident that started near Central Avenue and 11th Street.

The suspect, described as a black male adult in his 30’s, fled the area in a sonic gray pearl colored 2018-2020 Honda Pilot.  A white female adult in her 30s was in the passenger seat of the suspect vehicle.
